Themes
Week one: Vista
Backyards have been previous focus of this theme. With the theme of Vista, we want you to expand on that and depict the beauty of your surroundings. What makes your area so special to you and your community? This could be an image of a River, Beach, Paddock, Park, Forest or anything else that makes you stop and admire your surroundings.
Week two: Movement
This is a new theme for us, we would love to see the things happening around you. The more joy they bring you, the more joy we should see in the image. It might be an action shot of the winning goal of the soccer match, or rain dripping down a flower. Whatever captures movement.
It may be difficult to capture an image without children’s faces in them so please be mindful to remove or crop out faces where you need to.
Week Three: Light
This theme is inspired by the Sunsets and Sunrises from previous years. We want to see what more inspiration you might bring around light, what brings enjoyment to your environment. It might be Fireworks or a Sunset. Be as creative as you can.
Week Four: Animals
We can’t have a year without Creatures Great and Small. The previous years we have seen some amazing images of animals, from stacked Lizards to a Dog with the biggest grin you have ever seen. We want more of these, but please consider what raises emotions from the animal in the image.
